"Hello World!"

Yes! I'm back in the blogging world. but decided to start a new blog(hoping this will functions as a diary), the old one(benboyhome) will still be around, lazy to edit it, easier to start everything anew!

Ha, introduction of myself:
Name: Lim Wen Bin Benjamin
Age: 22 (not yet birthday)
Status: Poor Student (NTU) - Business & Computing
Hostel: Hall of Residence 15! blk 71! HA, after almost 2 years of NS in the west part of singapore, i am back at boon lay bus interchange (SO FAR), for next 4 years of school, hall is a great place too study(quiet & gets you in the mood), thou i been quite anti-social, serious, i only been too 1 of their events, chances of me getting hall again, nil. sad.

Told you, I'm poor student. and btw, this was taken before I withdraw some money(financial crisis, meltdown). looking for SCHOLARSHIPS. though school and tutions fees are not a problem(CPF), i need living allowance$, feel bad still depending on parents. sad. so any good companys out there would like to sponsor me, promise to study hard! yep! (btw, i aiming for bond free one) :X

Fav Hangouts: anywhere nice, Current fav is "Paulaners" their german beer is GREAT!
Fav Food: "Astons", "Mum's cooking"(but sadly, long long time no family dinner liao).

Current Life:
Completed NS in june, moving on too uni. WA, its much harder than expected, Ha, very fast must re-adjust expectations liao! anyway, took 5 code modules this sem. Currently feeling more towards my business modules, this is wad i really love! looking forward too more business modules.

Btw! i didnt study so hard before in my entire life, like too only really study before exams, but in uni, its all about concepts! everything is about, u need too be really strong, cose they gonna twist and turn everything, and u gotta know wads going on! tough but fun! never had so much fun mugging!! (Still hates mugg thou) textbook too, each modules covers 1 textbook per sem, fast and furious! results not out yet thou, but praying for the best.

AA101: Accounting I - Cool and interesting module, learned alot!!! Really like this module! great exposure too the financial world, learn alot on business reports and analysis. lucky i got abit of journal entries background from sec, but this 1 is totally different level. Also got a really interesting tutor, Mr Tan Wee Cheng, (try googleing or weecheng.com). he is in singapore record book as "Most countries travelled by a single person" been too 173 countries since 1993 and he got a impressive career (CFO of a listed company). Overall had alot of fun in this module, and seriously it gave me alot of Drive and Directions for life!

AB106: Principles of Economics - Yep! macro and micro econs in 1 sem! everyweek 2 chapters of theorys and principles, an interesting and insightful module, had fun in this module too. supply n demand, ho ho ho.

CSC101: Intro to Computing - This 1 is the WTF module... all poly gradutes have too take this, zzz. really a pure theory modules, covers alot of stuffs, everything touch and go, so much that i have 11 pages of compiled notes too memorize for exams!! its COMPILED btw! but lucky exams not so killer, so praying for the best!

CSC102:Intro to Programming - Thought this module will be easy but! omg. requires thinking, yes, mostly do-able but really out of touch liao,so had lot of fun relearning stuffs and really strengthening my basics! its not really intro, it like 2 1/2 modules of poly programming and they chiong really fast. Also everyweek's lab work is alot of stuffs. I barely able too finish everything! and alots of theory too. plus a stupid thing too print out all codes and paste them in a 'log book' so mostly my labs are art n craft sessions!

CSC103: Foundation Maths - This is the killer! all the way, killed... please pray for my final exams. this foundations covers probility & stats + Calculus. everyweek they chiong super fast, first half is still okay, but reach calculus omg. 1 week each for limits, differentiations, integrations n linear algebra and bam exams! I really regret dropping A maths in secondary + poly no calculus, had a hell time here now, haven gotten the basis, must do the advance level liao. but overall did my best for it. **exams - 4 questions. each question 4 parts, except for question 3, 3 parts. Q1 - did 2 parts, skipped 2 parts, Q2 - did part 1 & half of part 2, skipped the rest, Q3 - did half of part 1, skipped the rest, Q4 - complete. well, then i turned back too the beginning, OMG so much i left blank, then. "U GOT 5 MINS LEFT" nooooo! i really just anyway chiong the rest liao, so please pray for me. thx.**

yep, so holidays are here, just relaxing now... "WORK HARD, PLAY HARD".
