just got back from Singtel roadshow for Iphone 3GS lauch. started at 8pm all the way to last customer at after 5am! with over 300+ phones traded-in. and we were thinking response may be weak? hahaha. half-way our trade-in booth was running out of cash. funnny. lots of 3G! free ben and jerrys ice-cream too. thankfully I'm only doing 1 day. the rest of the guys are suppose to report back at 8am later. and I wannn 1 tooo.
anyway before the show when back too school. met with the associate dean(accountancy), she really nice, discussed about my change of program. when I first came up with the idea to switch, everyone thinks I'm crazy. hahaha. but back there in the room, I tried my best to convince her. I wan to do IT. ERP. SAP. then also I wan to do accounting. maybe I should have scream I wan to be an accountant. but its really hard to argue that you wan IT & accountacy. maybe Finance with Accountancy which will be great. so she gave her review. base on my poly results if I apply, straight NO. hahaha. and now she will be willing to give me an interview base on year 1 results, but too her for me just 1 business degree will be sufficient and the most she can offer me is a 2nd major in accountancy.
thou I didnt get wad I want, -maybe she can better evalute my options for me, for me halfway in the discussion of why I wanted the double D, it just become a matter of pride, that what I keep thinking in my mind. and I wun really be getting the edge while the course is expensive(time). so saving 1 year, compete degree in total 3 years. Business dbl major in (IT) (ACC). btw. I hate this but the difference between the degree and the major is 4 core modules.
guess everything gonna change abit. Looking forward. graduation then work towards an MBA. Never say never. maybe. just maybe.. Harvard Business School isn't too much too ask for.
