changed my phone number! No. I dun owe loan shark money. HAHAHA. infact I dun owe anyone money or was running to malaysia. went down to singtel after work yesterday. nice. got 1 month minimun rolling contact. so didn't get any phone contacts first. I WAN IPHONE 3GS. hopefully next month launch pricing is good. then shall spurge =X
anyway. was at singtel, choosing a good number. important. must be easy to rmb and sound lucky. haha. got 1 friendly malay auntie there also waiting. so she also think the number I was 'eye-ing' best. ha.
then I sms everyone in my contacts of my number but. oops! I typo the number! HAHAHA. funny. anyway hopefully everyone got the right number. LOL. hopefully I wun have to change my number ever again. I need to start sleeping earlier & eat right. got easily tired out in gym today. argh. still fat thou. LOL. back to work tml again, busy busy. after the PC show, confirm alot of trade in phone coming in.

I'm not against smoking but just the high price of it, like watching money burn and now that I'm the one giving him his allowance, i rather he spend it on food(he's a big eater). or drinks. hahaha. to me drinking the lesser of 2 evils and ice cold beers are great. hope that his definition of social smoking and control works.

In life we face with many life changing decisions that comes our way, so many what-if? I have a particular 1, maybe life would be quite different if I went that path. I dun think i told alot peeps about the exact details just maybe shaun? well. thinking back does makes me proud.
during BMT(tekong), I applied for, to me the best job! WSO C3. yep. Officer, combat pay, during training phase no route marching & SOC(obstacle course), HAHAHA. general terms is called Air traffic controller. so mostly means I just be inside the control tower. good career propects, thou at that time officer only till 42, now 50. wth. but can go CAAS(changi airport).
Heres how it went:
Aptitude test - I go there play computer, most of the test like for pliot testing haha. I should be passed, cose I went to next round which is medical checkup and interviews.
Medical checkup - Free full medical! hahaha. it is stingent and the medical the BEST! hahaha. where do u get real nurse and doctors do it for you for other place? and funny they take my body measurements too in the cockpit seat lookalike. wait, I also not flying. hahaha. but atleast I know I'm as healthy as it gets but just high body fat %. omg. it was over 20%. LOL.
Interview - Think this the hardest? hahaha. so I got called for an interview. Colonels, LTCs. I still remember clearly the questions. haha.
*As I walk into the room.*
me: "Morning Sir"
him: "Benjamin, are you from the obese company?"
me: "No. PTP"
him: "How many chin ups can you do?"
me: "zero."
him: "Thats no good. I want you to pull 6 by next week"
me: "I'll try my best."
him: "You're gonna become an officer, you have to pass your IPPT"
me: "I'll try my best."
him: "Why do you want to be an air traffic controller?"
*okay I crap alittle here*
me: "I like planes and i like to go to the airport look at plane and I think it a great job cose unlike the roads, the sky doesn't have any."
him: "You are wrong. the sky have roads that why the controllers are so important. to make sure everyone follows the rules."
him:"What do you know about helicopters?"
me:"we got the ****** and buying the ********"
him:"Accutally we already have the ******* and its already in operations"
me:"ohh."
*Last Question*
him: "Finally on a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you want the job?"
me: "10. I want the job."
him: "ok, thank you."
the interview doesn't seem good. but anyway. only me from my company got through. HAHAHA. then after POP. I got called to go down for contract signing. btw, at that point I found out that my cousin is also an C3. HAHAHA. yupz. he ask me to decide for myself. its good. ard 2k start pay. and the recuitment officer has to get a special letter to allow me to get in. I fail IPPT. honestly, I almost signed. but I wanted to decide over the weekend but they say I have to do it there. I called my parents, well they are up to me. then someone asked me not too. then they made an allowance to let me come back monday. btw, I met sam there same, proud officer now!
but I want to go uni. and thats gonna take up 4 years, thou can get study award but 4 years...
then that night I decide to turn it down. I know that my posting will be really random if I dun sign and true. I got atfirst wad I tot was the worst - Rifleman. met zhen an and some others(zhenghua, glen) in the canteen during my rifleman training phase, they in command school, admit that I'm sad then. hahaha. but acutally its pretty fun! I survived, i went taiwan 3 times! I met a great bunch of peeps! thankfully. and no SOC too. hehe.
thinking back, life's quite okay now for me, thou I could have been alot richer. oops. but money can always be earned. so waiting to graduate! hahaha. on hindsight, I should have applied for pilot too. would have been really interesting. and hopefully I'll get to learn to fly in future.

.Phone's Back!.
My phone is back!! keke. luckily is not that exp for the LCD repair. cracked last month. someone commented that the cracks looks like it help me block a bullet, haha. 1 main circular crack with the rest extending from it. but well is I just accidentally drop it.
last night alumni dinner was erm. only 1 table of us? HAHAHA. i mean alumni. the rest are lectures/students/award winners. ICT NP win 3 times the NIC(National InfoComm compeition) since 2006 after I grad(my time dun have the compeition). but I'm more interested in meeting my peeps! after dinner we made a bad choice of going al azhar(very hot), so end up at macdonals instead. should have went KAP. cose KAP macdonal is different. LOL.
btw, I got more ppl for retirement resettlement plans. just recuit tree and yc for our hokkaido retirement! HAHAHA. everything is great there. nice place, cold, fresh sushi, sake, crabs. only shaun wants to go vienna. so he will come visit us every year then. anyway, I bestow upon the jap name "Ishikawa" to YC. hahaha. cose I saw some shop name "ishikawa" at bukit timah shopping center, so thats his new jap family name. and I'll open a sake bar. lol.
and sake the only alcohol drink that doesn't gives you hangover the nx day. hahaha.
anyway, shaun's hostels selections and food meal plans in US are really weird and funny. got hotel as accomodation but 8 miles away, another near food center but no internet, got bunglow, else residence hall best but must move out during holidays. anyway I recommand which that has a pub within walking distance. Haha. cater 10 meals a week with $300 debit credits or unlimited buffet meals. LOL. got choices for living levels too. categories are: no alcohol drug free hall, ALL MALE(GAY?), instensified study, wellness floor? really mafan.
anyway. basketball tml morning at 8am! yay. but I haven yet sleep. no. hahaha.

.A Peek into Future.
I think I told fabian & WX abt this. wad I want? I can't wait to graduate. hopefully I achieve my goal which I set for myself before school, which is to get a good job before I graduate. I'm a strong advocate of NO $4k start pay, NO work. HAHAHA. if you think I'm deluded, please close this window now.
A quick calculation:
- for that pay after CPF & income tax. take home abt: $3000+(slightly, assuming CPF 20% with income tax).'
- I want by live myself, maybe get 2 other friends, rent apartment (anyone?), that means abt $900 for rent/bills.
- Transport. $300
- Parents. $300
- Save. $500
- Food/shopping/enternment $1000/the rest.
okay, review. thats assuming I got a 4k pay and fix expenditure should be rent/transport/parents/savings. so thats left wadever for the rest. sounds probable heh. and tranport is mrt/bus. I still hate buses(during peak hrs). hahaha. thou I like times when travelling I can sleep or think about stuffs. I want a car but me dun even have a licence yet. more expenses.
why I want to live/move out? well I love my parents but I love freedom too. always grateful that my parents are the most freedom kind. leave it up to me to decide for myself. never force me in anything, hopefully I'hv turned out well. and living by yrself is independance, after NS & 1 year in hostel. its acutally nothing much. thou I will seriously need a part-time maid to clear my house and washing, the rest I can handle. btw. I hate it when ppl worry for me. hahaha. its nice but I believe if someone will worry for me, the best thing I can repay them is not let them worry. hahaha. oops, off topic there. well. this is wad I see myself in 3 years.

.Updates of Life.
hey! I'm still alive!! hahaha. oops. I only manage to blog once in may. so hopefully june will be better. I'm busy heh.
so far:
- got a temp job! thanks SY for intro! that occupies my weekdays. happy.
- giving tuition to 2 poly student (twin brothers) on programming & accounting. HA. my best subjects. happy.
- got my first pay cheque from the tuition as mention. 1/2 go to the tuition agency(first month intro fees). 1/3 goes to repair phone. the rest on bus concession for next month. yep. nothing left...
- I hate the weather. just hot & humid. day & night. and my aircon being spolit since last year when I wasn't home 1 day and my brother on it and black smoke start coming out. HAHAHA. I need a new aircon!!
- EPL ended. Liverpool finished second. best ever finish(highest point tally) for the past 5 years. hopefully nx season we can win! and they are coming to singapore. should i go? LOL. ah fu asked me on sat. hmmm. maybe? but I can i have a picture with torres?? haha.
well, thats for now. will update more when I rmb more.
